Position: Chief Customer Officer

Naveen Agarwal is Prudential’s Chief Customer Officer. As the company’s leading commentator on consumer markets, he provocatively connects the dots between traditional and new digital economies with a focus on:

  • the intersection of human behavior, data analytics, and technology
  • implications for customer experience and preferences
  • emergence and evolution of customer micro segments
  • new ways to think about money and risk pools; and
  • delightfully challenging “shiny object” trends in artificial intelligence, FinTech and InsurTech.

Naveen has diverse experience spanning both the East and West coast, working for 20 years as a senior executive in several companies located in Silicon Valley, including as CEO of Pricelock, a startup helping energy professionals hedge and transact physical energy contracts. He was also President of E*TRADE Capital Management, pioneering early digital wealth management trends. Naveen also has deep risk and valuation background, and was vice president of Derivatives Pricing, Trading, and Risk Solutions at SunGard.

Naveen remains actively involved with several Silicon Valley technology and venture capital firms, applying a combination of entrepreneurial, marketing, consumer, data and digital expertise across finance, technology, insurance, energy, marketing, real estate, education and healthcare industries.

Agarwal is a dynamic keynote speaker and is frequently invited to talk about trends in digital evolution, data analytics, and consumer marketing across the country.

Agarwal holds an MBA from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, CA and a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, India.
